What happens during the treatment?After a consultation to ensure that you are suitable for the treatment, the procedure is quick and painless. Using a speculum, a small rod containing the laser is gently inserted into the vagina. It is then carefully pulled back so that the laser covers the full length of the vaginal wall. It does not hurt and is over very quickly.
What happens after the treatment?Following your Laser procedure it is recommended that you do not have sexual intercourse or use tampons for approximately five days to allow the vaginal wall to settle. There is no other restriction and no pain.
