Laser Treatment In Delhi

Right from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the infection rate, as well as the death rate, was high. In the opinion of the doctors, scientists, and prominent virologists, the disease was unique and the world had no treatment for that. Though the doctors continued the treatment keeping track with the major symptoms that the COVID-19 patients had. The success was noticed, still, the right treatment was not available. In such a situation, the World Health Organization emphasized on the invention of specialized vaccines. Responding to this WHO call, many leading laboratories in the world started their preparations.

India worked in close cooperation with the leading laboratories and carried out a massive drive for the vaccines. The success came by December 2020 when the Government of India and the DRDO approved two different brands of vaccines, namely Covishield and Covaccine. The vaccination process in India started In India on January 16, 2021. In the beginning, the vaccine was administered to senior citizens who age more than 60 years. In this phase of vaccination, people visited the government-authorized health centers and private hospitals. Every patient got two doses of the vaccines at an interval of 28 days. The vaccines were made available for free to all senior citizens.

The second phase of the vaccination started on April 1, 2021. It allowed people in the age group of 45 years and 59 years. It was a massive drive that aimed at vaccinating more than 24 crore citizens from all over the country. Like the previous phase, the vaccines were available at the government health centers and the private hospitals and clinics that got the government’s approval. Here, the vaccines at the government health centers were available for free but the private clinics and hospitals charged a sum of INR 250 per injection.

In the meantime, the PM came up with an important announcement that said the start of the third phase of the vaccination. This was going to be the biggest one as it included citizens in the age group of 18 years and 44 years. As per an assumption, the figure was massive at around 80 crores. Unfortunately, the process could not begin due to the shortage of the vaccine in the country. This time, the private clinics and hospitals are supposed to charge the price at an enhanced cost as the manufacturers came up with a revised tariff for every dose of the vaccine.

Present Scenario:

At Present, the vaccination process in India is not smooth as the supply of vaccines is not enough. The shortage of the vaccines has been a major reason for the unwanted disruptions in the vaccination process. Today, when the second wave of the pandemic is on a rampage and affecting more than 3 lakh people in every 24-hours. The demand for the vaccination doses is increasing rather fast and the manufacturing companies are trying their best to come up with the number. Still, the reality is very alarming indeed.
